Accommodations: At Tropical Island Bed & Breakfast, a homey bed & breakfast
hosted by brothers where brothers come from around the world on vacation!
Tropical Island B&B is located two blocks from the sea and not far from nice
restaurants and transportation to beautiful beaches. Each room has two
queen-sized beds, and is equipped with cable TV, VCR, and a large selection of
movies.
Breakfast in buffet:
Each morning a buffet is served with an array of fresh tropical fruits in
season along with homemade breads and pastries with eggs, ham, and Dominican
"chocolate avena",
juice, coffee, and tea.
Transportation:
Personal Chauffeuring (included); Car rental available through
brothers; Motorcycles available to rent.

SAMPLE OF A 7-DAY
ITINERARY
DAY 1
Met by Rodolfo's Tropical Mountain
Airport Pickup Service.
For Puerto Plata International
Airport arrivals, depart for a beautiful three hour drive along
the sea on the north coast of the island to the peninsula of
Samana.
For Santiago International Airport
arrivals, depart for a drive through the interior of the country
viewing the mountains and countryside.
Upon arrival in Samana, an
orientation by Hostess to answer any questions regarding
restaurants, meals, places to go, etc... in order to create an
personalized itinerary.
DAY 2
Leave for a one hour trip to one of
the most beautiful beaches in the world, Rincon Beach, on the
other side of the peninsula. Enjoy freshly caught fish
cooked on the beach with native cuisine.
DAY 3
Spend the day at a beautiful resort
at the end of the peninsula with unlimited tropical drinks.
Also included for your enjoyment is a pool, sport activities,
and a beautiful beach with a backdrop of the Samana Sierras.
Day Pass, Luncheon Buffet, Night Pass Dinner Buffet, and Evening
Show.

DAY 4
Boat excursion. Spend the day at
Bacardi Island.
 
Cruising on a large launcha in the great bay of
Samana
 
Native buffet luncheon served on the beach.
Swimming/snorkelling (bring your own equipment), sunbathing all
afternoon.

DAY 5
Leave for an all-day adventure to El Limon, one
of the most beautiful waterfalls in the country - on horses or
mules - enjoying a guided tour through the beautiful tropical
countryside. An adventure of a lifetime!
On the way to the falls you can see a very varied landscape,
including grassy hills dotted with royal palms, cultivated
fields, coffee and cocoa plots, small holdings, riverine forest,
oranges and grapefruits in abundance, and some remnants of rain
forest. At one point the path leads under a toppled tree
that has become a natural bridge covered in epiphytes (mainly
bromeliada) colonizing the now horizontally curved trunk.
Birds abound in the early morning as well as beautiful
butterflies of all shapes and colors.
The trail, La Manzana, is about 2 kilometres long, and once you
arrive there and dismount your horse/mule, you will then enjoy a
300 meter hike down to the Salto Del Limon for swimming.
Upon your return, a delicious meal of local cuisine will be
awaiting you under a tropical cabana. It's an adventure
you won't soon forget!

DAY 6
Leave for the isolated, but beautiful, almost virgin
beach of Playa Colorada. A trip along the northing coast
of the peninsula, beautifully framed by the picturesque
mountains of the Samana Sierras. Breathtakingly beautiful!
Enjoy
short hikes to various beaches.
Excellent snorkelling! (Bring equipment).

DAY 7
Leave
early morning for airport. Take pictures along the way.
Gift or souvenir shopping in the little town of
Sosua-by-the-sea or other area on the way.
Assistance with luggage, ticketing, head tax, changing money,
immigration, boarding arrangements, etc.
