Thousands of humpback whales from the North Atlantic migrate to the waters of the Dominican Republic each winter to mate and give birth.  One of their most popular winter rendezvous places is Samana Bay.  More than 1500 humpbacks visit the bay, with as many as 300 present at any given time during the mating season. The World Wildlife Fund considers Samana Bay one of the best places in the world to watch whales.

1 to 10 persons:  $50 US per person
11-25 persons:  $45 US per person.

PAYMENT INFORMATION:

Group Rates are available.

Payment is required in advance, and can be made through credit card or by mail deposit to a U.S. bank when there is sufficient time; information is e-mailed to ones requesting the tour.

The reason for advanced payment is that the brothers plan the tour for the set number of persons reserved, and a group rate is given based on this number of persons.  If for some reason brothers cancel at the last minute or do not show up, the brothers giving the tour will lose the entire day as they will have turned down other brothers who have requested a tour for this date.  To protect against this happening, advanced payment is required.

If there are brothers who, at the last minute would like to join the reserved group, and there is room, these can still come with the group and pay when they arrive.
