A two hundred ($200.00) dollar
deposit is required at the time of reservation. See "Cancellation Fees"
for refund policy.
A non-refundable deposit of $50 per person is required for guests
wishing to hold reservation dates 80 or more days prior to departure.
For groups of 10 or more, a non-refundable deposit of $100 per person is
required.
Payments to be made by
certified cheque, money order, or credit cards (American Express, Master
Card, VISA, or Diners). If credit cards are used, a 5% surcharge must be
added to the trip cost.
Payment can be made in whole or in
part, (i.e. installments). Whatever arrangements you would like to make
is fine, however, the balance MUST be received and paid in
FULL no
less than sixty (60) days prior to travel.
Cancellation Fees
61 or more days prior to departure =
$50 Fee.
(This Fee is non-refundable as it is paid to airline, Bed & Breakfast
property, etc..., to secure dates for your tour.)
31-60 days prior to departure = 50% of tour price.
0-30 days prior to departure & no shows = No Refund.
Cancellation Fees - Air Portion
All airlines have different cancellation/change
policies. Consequently, details will be provided at time of reservation or
with whom the airfare is booked.
Change Fees
The Land only portion of package price
(not airfare) may be changed for a Fee of $100.
Insurance
Because time and unforeseen
circumstances befall us all, everyone on the tour MUST have Hospital and
Medical insurance. We also recommend including "cancellation"
insurance, that way, if you must cancel, you have the peace of mind
knowing that you will not be out of pocket of your hard-earned money.
You can make your own arrangements for this or purchase it through us.
We can offer insurance plans through Globetrek (part of Royal & Sun
Alliance, established in 1710).
Regardless of the reason (including
medical), cancellations involve expenses and fees, so there are NO
exceptions to our cancellation policies/fees (see below) or the
cancellation policies of the travel insurance carrier. Although Janice
Harris Consulting / K. Walsh & Associates Inc. are the principal agents
and take great care in choosing suppliers/vendors, we do not control
them and cannot be responsible for their acts or omissions.
Changes to the Tour
Unforeseen circumstances may force us
to change aircrafts, dates, times, and itineraries. If this occurs, you
will be contacted and given the option of accepting the changes or
canceling your tour reservations. Please note that under such
circumstances, we unfortunately must apply the "Cancellation Fees". The
only exception would be if the entire tour has to be cancelled by us, in
which case ALL deposits will be refunded, excluding airfare.
Children
Children or young people under the age
of 18 are welcome without either parent. However, they MUST be
accompanied on the trip with a guardian, assistant, or caregiver who will look
after them. You will need to fill out a letter authorizing a
responsible adult as legal guardian over your child/children for the
duration of the trip. Please be aware that the person you choose will
be entrusted with full moral, legal, and medical powers concerning your
child/children. Janice Harris Consulting / K. Walsh & Associates Travel
Services Inc. must be notified of anyone making application for the tour
who may have a problem in this area.
Physically handicapped
People with physical disabilities are
also welcome on the tour. However, they must be accompanied on the trip
with a guardian, assistant, or caregiver who will look after them.

must be notified of anyone making application for the tour who may have
a problem in this area.
Passports
Everyone on the tour MUST have a valid
passport. If you do not have one, or if your passport expires
during the tour dates, please make sure that is it corrected before
filling applications for any tours. Janice Harris Consulting / K. Walsh
& Associates Travel Services Inc. cannot be held responsible for the
severe consequences of having inappropriate identification.
Lost or Stolen Property
Janice Harris Consulting / K. Walsh &
Associates Travel Services Inc. cannot assume responsibility for any
claims, losses, damages, expenses arising out of injury, accident or
death, loss or delay of baggage, mechanical breakdowns, government
actions, weather, other causes beyond our control, or you fail to obtain
mandatory documents - i.e. passports, visas, and health certificates
where required; therefore, NO refunds can be made.
Delays
Should the outbound or return journey
be delayed due to circumstances beyond our control (i.e. adverse travel
conditions, strikes, civil disturbances, etc…), Janice Harris Consulting
/ K. Walsh & Associates Travel Services Inc. cannot be held
responsible. Any additional costs due to such circumstances are the
responsibility of the passengers.
